Boatshop located in Clark’s Harbour, in an ideal location. Greg Symonds Boatbuilders constructed highly sought-after Cape Islander fishing vessels that were sold all along the coast of Nova Scotia and beyond. Greg, a fourth-generation boat builder, launched his final vessel on August 27, 2025. After constructing 187 vessels in his 41-year career, Greg decided to retire in the summer of 2025. The boatshop has a kitchen and bathroom (the outside shed serves as the office). There are openings at both ends of the building for a boat to enter or exit. The building could also be converted into a lobster holding tank, warehouse, or a variety of other economic choices.
